Use experience and improvement

Although the calibration of the electro pneumatic converter is strictly required, the fault maintenance in actual use can be roughly adjusted and eliminated. Because the electro pneumatic transducer is an open-circuit conversion instrument, there is no signal feedback to improve its own accuracy, so the control accuracy and effect of the electro converter installed in the field regulating valve are far inferior to the valve positioner. Especially in some large-capacity diaphragm heads or long-used regulating valves, the adjustment control of the regulating valve by the electro pneumatic converter is slow and the error is large. It is difficult to overcome the lag dead zone caused by the friction between the valve stem and the packing of the regulating valve.
